Blanking dies for the bulb sizes the market uses most are made, tested and running. If your outline matches, there is no tooling charge and no tool lead time.

What goes into an LED bulb PCB.
The raw material, layer by layer. Aluminium PCB, aluminium MCPCB and metal core PCB are three names for the same board. Aluminium PCB
Aluminium base
The metal base takes heat from the LEDs and spreads it out, so LEDs run cooler and keep their brightness longer than on paper or glass-epoxy boards.
Thin dielectric
Insulates the copper from the aluminium while letting heat pass through.
Copper layer
One copper layer, 35 µm as standard, 70 µm where the design needs it.
White solder mask
Reflects light back out of the bulb. Green and black on request.
Surface finish
HASL or OSP to keep pads solderable for your SMT line.

Driver board
In bulbs with a separate driver, the driver sits on its own small board. We punch common driver strip sizes (17 × 34 mm and 17 × 40 mm) on ready dies; driver boards usually run on CEM1. Driver PCBs

Designing a bulb board that yields well.
LED pads from the datasheet
Use the LED maker's recommended footprint. Undersized pads cause tilted LEDs and dark spots after reflow.
Copper continuous under the LEDs
Keep thermal pads large and copper continuous to spread heat into the aluminium.
Holes away from the edge
On punched boards, keep holes at least one board thickness from the outline so edges do not crack.
Copper back from the outline
Copper at the edge can lift or burr during blanking. Leave clearance.
Mains spacing
Where the board carries mains (DOB, or a driver on the same board), keep creepage to your product standard. Spacing guide

Do you make LED bulb PCBs?
Yes. We make single-sided aluminium MCPCBs for LED bulbs at Plot 233, HSIIDC Industrial Estate, Barwala, District Panchkula, Haryana, and supply bulb manufacturers across India.
What is an LED bulb PCB made of?
Most are aluminium MCPCB: one copper layer on a thin dielectric bonded to an aluminium base, with white solder mask and a HASL or OSP finish.
Do you have a die for my bulb size?
Very likely for common round sizes. We have ready dies from 38 mm to 66 mm for bulb and emergency bulb boards, plus 82, 112 and 132 mm for DOB. Send your outline and we check it against all 21 ready dies before quoting.
Can you make the PCB for a 9 W LED bulb?
Yes. Send the Gerber or the board diameter and quantity. If the diameter matches a ready die, there is no tooling charge.
Is there a tooling charge?
Not if your outline matches a ready die. A new outline needs a new blanking tool, which we quote separately.
Do you assemble the LEDs?
No. We supply bare MCPCBs, tested and ready for your SMT line.
Do you make the driver board too?
Yes. Single-sided driver boards, usually on CEM1, and DOB boards with the driver and LEDs on one aluminium board.
What is the minimum order?
40 m² of board per design (part number), not 40 pieces. That is about 430 sq ft, or about 16,000 pcs of a 50 × 50 mm board. We supply production volumes to manufacturers. For regular customers only, designs below 40 m² can be run with a ₹2,500 development charge.
