FR4 · MCPCB

Tail, brake and stop lamps

Long LED boards for two-wheeler, car and commercial vehicle lamps.

FR4

Sequential indicators

Indicator boards with many LEDs in a row, driven in sequence.

MCPCB

DRL, fog and headlamp modules

Aluminium boards for high-power LEDs where heat decides the lamp's life.

FR4

Interior and number-plate lights

Small LED boards for cabin, boot and number-plate lighting.

FR4

In-car chargers and accessories

USB car chargers, battery indicators and accessory boards.

FR4 · CEM3

E-rickshaw and EV accessories

Indicator, display and lighting boards for electric three-wheelers.

What a good automotive board needs.

FR4 for strength

Glass-epoxy FR4 resists cracking under vibration and handles temperature swings better than paper laminates.

MCPCB for high-power LEDs

DRLs, fog lamps and headlamps need an aluminium base to carry heat away from the LEDs.

Mounting holes that hold

Keep mounting holes clear of copper and away from the edge, and size them for the screw and washer you use.

Shapes that fit the lamp

Lamp boards are rarely rectangles. Curved and stepped outlines are CNC routed or punched on a blanking tool for volume.

Copper for long LED strings

Long boards carry current end to end. Wider tracks or 70 µm copper keep voltage drop and heating down.

Questions about automotive boards.

Which material do you recommend for vehicle lamps?

FR4 for most lamp and indicator boards, and aluminium MCPCB for high-power LEDs such as DRLs and fog lamps.

Can you make odd-shaped lamp boards?

Yes. Curved and stepped outlines are CNC routed for samples and smaller lots, or punched on a blanking tool for volume.

Do you make multilayer automotive boards?

No. We make single-sided boards only, which covers most vehicle lighting and accessory boards.

Can you meet my customer's validation requirements?

Tell us what the requirement is before you order. We'll confirm what we can support for your board.

Send us your automotive board.
