LED driver boards we make.
Single-sided driver boards for the lighting products India buys in volume. All power PCBs
Bulb driver strips
The small board inside an LED bulb. Common strip sizes, 17 × 34 mm and 17 × 40 mm, are punched on ready dies, usually on CEM1. LED bulb PCB
Batten and tube light drivers
Long, narrow driver boards for battens and tube lights.
Panel and downlight drivers
Isolated and non-isolated drivers for panels and downlights.
Drivers that pair with our DOBs
Driver boards made to work with our driver-on-board LED boards, or move the driver onto the DOB itself. DOB PCB
Emergency light drivers
Charging and changeover circuits for rechargeable bulbs and emergency lights. Emergency bulb PCB
Isolated or non-isolated: what changes on the board.
Both are single-sided. The layout rules are different, and our CAM team checks them against the spacing you specify.
Isolated drivers
A transformer separates the mains side from the LED output. The board needs a clear primary-to-secondary gap, usually with an isolation slot under the opto-coupler and between transformer pins.
Non-isolated drivers
No transformer barrier between mains and the LEDs, so the whole LED circuit sits at mains potential. Keep mains spacing on every high-voltage track and plan creepage to the housing.
Tell us your standard
Give us the creepage and clearance your product standard needs. We check every gap against it and flag anything short before production. Spacing guide
Choosing a material for an LED driver.
A starting point. We confirm the choice after looking at your design and operating temperature. Full material guide
| Material | Use it for | Why |
|---|---|---|
| CEM1 | Most bulb, batten and panel drivers | The standard for punched power boards. Stronger than FR1, still cost-effective at volume. |
| CEM3 | Hotter drivers in closed housings | Glass core handles heat and tracking better than CEM1, at a lower cost than FR4. |
| FR4 | Higher-power and industrial drivers | Best strength and heat resistance. Pair with 70 µm copper where current is high. |
What a good driver board needs.
Our CAM team checks these points on every driver file before a panel is printed.
Isolation slot where it matters
A slot under the opto-coupler and between transformer pins stretches the creepage path. Draw it on your mechanical layer; we punch it with the outline or route it.
Heat around the hot parts
Keep copper area around the bridge, switching device and output diode. If the driver runs hot in a sealed housing, move up from CEM1 to CEM3 or FR4.
Copper for the current
35 µm suits most LED drivers. High-current outputs usually need 70 µm or wider tracks. Trace width calculator
Pads that survive soldering
Paper-based laminates hold copper less firmly than FR4. Larger annular rings and teardrops on transformer, bridge and connector pads keep them in place.
Fewer hole sizes
Driver parts often need only three or four hole sizes. Fewer sizes mean simpler punch tools, faster tooling and a lower price.
Holes away from the edge
On punched boards, keep holes at least one board thickness from the outline so narrow driver strips do not crack.
Why lighting brands source driver boards from us.
Single-sided only
Every line and every tool at our Barwala plant works on single-sided boards.
LED board and driver from one plant
MCPCB LED boards, DOBs and driver boards are made under one roof, so both boards in a bulb can come from one supplier.
10,000 m² a month
Capacity for production-volume driver orders, with panels planned to get the most boards from every sheet.
PDF approval first
You approve a PDF of the final panel before any material is cut.
Traceable lots
Every lot is bare board tested, checked by an independent QC team and dispatched with its job number.
Your design stays yours
We sign an NDA before files are shared if you need one. Jobs run under client IDs, never your company name.
Questions? Answers.
Do you make LED driver PCBs?
Yes. We make single-sided LED driver boards, isolated and non-isolated, for bulbs, battens, panels and downlights at our plant in Barwala, District Panchkula, Haryana, and supply lighting brands across India.
Which material is used for LED driver PCBs?
CEM1 is the standard for most LED drivers. CEM3 suits hotter drivers in closed housings, and FR4 suits higher-power and industrial drivers.
Can you punch the isolation slot?
Yes. Slots are punched in the same stroke as the outline on a blanking tool, or routed on CNC.
Do you have dies for bulb driver strips?
Yes. We have ready dies for 17 × 34 mm and 17 × 40 mm driver strips. If your board matches, there is no tooling charge.
Do you make isolated and non-isolated driver boards?
Yes, both. Tell us the creepage and clearance your product standard needs, and our CAM team checks every gap against it before production.
Can you make the LED board as well?
Yes. We make aluminium MCPCB LED boards and DOB boards with the driver and LEDs on one board, so both boards in a bulb can come from us.
Do you assemble the components?
No. We supply bare single-sided PCBs, tested and ready for your assembly line.
What is the minimum order?
40 m² of board per design (part number), not 40 pieces. That is about 430 sq ft, or about 16,000 pcs of a 50 × 50 mm board. For regular customers only, designs below 40 m² can be run with a ₹2,500 development charge.
